Oliver Warren is a dinosaur who is a little different. Oliver was born with a cleft lip. Because of his appearance, Oliver stands out from his classmates. While some of his classmates like Ed the Lion make fun of his lip, Ash White, his crocodile best friend defends him every time. Oliver is grateful to have a friend who supports him, but he feels very embarrassed when he gets made fun of at school.  
 
Oliver is so bothered by his cleft lip that he has surgery to correct it. When seeing the scar from the surgery, Oliver is reminded that he is still himself, simply different again. He learns to appreciate his uniqueness.
